This little sweetheart’s photos are edited. Here is an example of what a newborn proof set from a shoot might look like.

Any day now I am going to get a call letting me know baby “C” is on his way. Can’t wait to be there for his birth! I am pulling for a Memorial Day birth. . .

I love grabbing a portrait of mom (or mom-to-be) when I can. They are always taking pictures of others. . . they should have a beautiful picture of themselves!

This was one of my most favorite senior shoots. She was a natural at this! Plus we found a great barn painted for her home state of Texas.

Just a few weeks ago I was taking maternity shots of this couple. I got to shoot them again this morning – only this time it was with their newborn daughter. Seriously – have you ever seen anything so cute?

I have known Lisa for several years now. We’ve shot weddings, gone to photography presentations and built our businesses together. It is wonderful to bounce ideas and questions off of a fellow photographer. It is also wonderful to have someone who can take those pictures that I cannot – i.e. my maternity pictures and family photos for our holiday card.

I finally had the opportunity to return the favor. The purpose of this shoot was two-fold; Lisa was in need of a new head-shot.  It had also been a while since she had pictures taken with her husband. So we got together a couple weeks ago at a nearby park. It was so easy working with her and her husband – and the pictures turned out great. Hope she loves them!

I told many people I would never own a dog. There was one in particular that I loved growing up, so I am not anti-dog. It is just that cats are easier to take care of. And as a busy mom of three, I didn’t care to bring another thing into our house that would going to requiring cleaning-up after.

However I caved. . .big time. I convinced myself that not only did my daughter want a dog, but I did as well. And that’s the short-version of how we came in possession of Ollie – our super-sweet Golden Retriever.

Did I mention how much we love having him? It is a ton of work, however I concede that it is worth it. Plus my daughter, who has wanted a dog since her exile from the womb couldn’t be happier. Here I believe she is cleaning his ears!?! lol I can’t believe how big he has gotten in such a short time.
