There’s nothing like seeing the face of a father as he looks at his child for the first time. In honor of Father’s Day, I pulled together some photos I have of new dads and their babies taken within minutes of birth. Enjoy!

Today’s post features to the birth of baby Hazel. This birth happened at home, attended by the fabulous midwife Kate of Twin Cities Midwifery. Along with her parents, baby’s Grandma and Aunt were there to welcome her.

The Birth Without Fear meet-up is coming to Minneapolis! I’ll be capturing it along with two other talented birth photographers (Peace Love Babies and Jennifer Liv Photography), so we’re celebrating with a giveaway!
