My promise. . .

Wouldn’t you love to have a way to remember the special, tender or even just ordinary moments with the ones you love the most? Let me capture the love, joy, silliness, and personalities that make your family great. That once-in-a-lifetime event like the birth of your child or the first time two siblings meet. Your beautiful growing belly or the first days with your new baby. These moments are fleeting; years from now I want you to look at these pictures and have all these memories come rushing back.

Together we will create photos you will enjoy looking at, again and again, proudly displaying them in your home. This is what I have been doing for others for the last seven years. It would be an honor to capture these memories for you.

Your story is worth capturing. Contact me today and we will get started.

My style. . .

My work is classic, warm, and joyful. My sessions are laid-back to allow everyone to relax and be themselves. I want to show candid emotions and connections. Together we will create memories for your family to enjoy over and over again.

My Story. . . .

I am a wife, mother, artist, crafter, advocate, leader. . . I grew up on the East Coast but have lived in MN so long you would think I would have gotten used to just how cold the winters are – but I haven’t.  As a child, I was the family photographer. I still have albums full of images all the way back to elementary school. In college, however, my left brain won out and I graduated with a degree in Mathematics and Women’s Studies from St. Olaf College.

Most days you can find me trapped under one of our cats, caring for foster kittens or chauffeuring our kids around to their activities. I am introverted but love meeting clients one-on-one. I am definitely silly and spare no humility if it helps your child come out of his or her shell.

Being of service to others is very important to me.  In addition to volunteering for activities involving my kids, I give my time and talents to Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep, an organization that offers remembrance photography to parents suffering a loss of a baby. This is heavy but richly rewarding work.
