This little guy surprised everyone by arriving early. As a result he needed to spend his first several weeks in the NICU. Once home, I got to meet all five pounds of him! He was by far one of my easiest newborns to pose – perhaps due to being early or still so little – I am not sure. Whatever it was, I was able to get so many beautiful of the pictures of him and his parents.
I was so hoping to be at this little girl’s birth. When her mom and I talked about it, I knew I was scheduled for vacation a couple days after she would hit week 42. However this was her second child and what was the chance of her lasting past week 42? Well, I guess the chance was good because that is actually what happened. So rather than birth pictures, I got to meet baby Philomena, a.k.a Poppy, a little over a week after she was born to do newborn pictures.
My daughter and I have been witness to our favorite Occupational Therapist’s pregnancy the past nine months. We were thrilled when we heard that baby Jameson made his entrance! Here are a few “peeks” of our session together.
Where has the time gone? I can’t believe it has taken me a month to get pictures of Baby Voss up on the blog. I got to meet this cutie on Memorial Day along with mom, dad and big sister. He was such a sweetie!!
Not only did I get to meet Magnus at this shoot, but also his “big sister” Belle. She was keenly interested in everything I was doing. It was too funny not to snap a couple of her as well as the baby. And what about the Sock Monkey set – isn’t it the cutest? M’s mama found it for him on Etsy.
I am in awe of how beautiful this mom is – especially just two weeks after having her beautiful baby girl! Mom mentioned how Juliana even slept in the morning so she was able to get ready for the shoot. Wasn’t that kind of her? Can’t wait to show this sweet family their photos!
Here’s a little peek of a sweet pair of babies just four weeks old! Some time in the NICU prevented us to being able to do this sooner, however it is so nice that everyone can be home together now. Many thanks to this beautiful family for having me out for photos. More beautiful pictures of these two to come!
It is always such an honor to be invited into a home to take photos of a brand new baby. This session is my second of my newest offering – Fresh48 – where the session happens within the first 48 hours after birth. Little Quinn was just two days new! He was welcomed by big brothers and a big sister with lots of smiles and enthusiasm. I am sure in no time he will have them all wrapped around his little fingers!
Just a quick post of the sweet, sweet little ones I had the pleasure of photographing yesterday. They were only 6 days old and so little and perfect little sleepers. And aren’t those hats the mama bought for them the cutest!
